About HQ Nord Tools

My name is Andrew Sherrard, and after spending 7 years building and running the wihatools.com website and ecommerce channels I branched out and started my own website. Prior to joining Wiha I was a web developer and want to use my web development experience to give you a high-quality online purchasing experience for other brands.

My goal is to give you the best possible purchasing experience for high-quality hand tools online, hqnord.com will be your headquarters for finding quality tools online.   

What does that mean?

  • Providing high-quality content and helpful product information that will help you make an informed purchasing decision.
  • Clearly show inventory and stock status. You should not have to wait to know if an item is available or how many are available to order until after you’ve purchased it. If you order 4 items you can expect 4 items to ship within the next business day.  
  • Offering fast and transparent shipping options.
  • This website will clearly state the country of origin information.
  • Only stocking the best quality brands and tools.
  • Offering a curated selection of top tools, I will not list thousands of products that clutter the buying experience.
  • You should be able to get in and get out. My goal is that you can place your order in under 5 minutes when you know what size or specific tool you need.

 

Why do you only stock Wiha Tools?

I am currently only stocking Wiha Tools, as I continue to grow I will be adding more brands to purchase. If I don’t stock the product you will see links to purchase on amazon.com, If you purchase that tool after clicking the link, as an Amazon affiliate, I’ll make a small percentage of the sale. This will help me to grow my business and purchase more inventory from additional brands.

Why is it called HQ Nord?

My grandfather started and ran a small family resort called Headquarter’s Lodge on Lake Mille Lacs in Garrison Minnesota from the 1960s through the 1970s. It is in that same entrepreneurial spirit that I’ve called my business HQ Nord. Headquarters North unfortunately was already taken, so I shortened it and gave it a French Canadian twist. HQ Nord it is.

Why haven’t I heard of HQ Nord before?

This is a new business. HQ NORD LLC was started in January of 2023. I am just starting this process as a small business owner, so expect that your experience will consistently improve over time.
